The presentation, although initially intended for elementary education, can be tailored up to any age group K-12 with various run times. The events surrounding 18th century pirates can be a fun way to explore Triangular Trade, the history of the American Colonies and Age of Exploration, naval warfare, and even, philosophical writings of Enlightenment thinkers that contain ideals within the United States government. Pirate crews were in many ways fully autonomous democracies tackling issues of freedom, equality, and justice on the high seas!

Bellamy’s adventurous tale features history, music, and theatrics making it a great way to spice up social studies classes, libraries, museums, and summer camps!
